Sculptural Wave Necklace Silver, Garnets & Pearls

Private collection

Sculptural pendant made in forged sterling silver with garnets, pearls and amethists attached using sterling silver wire. Four fringes. Pendant measures almost 2" (4.6cm) wide and 1.75" (4cm) high. Total length of necklace is 16.5" (37.1cm) long. To make the pendant, four heavy pieces of sterling silver were forged and shapped into scrolls. After they were connected with fine coiled sterling silver wire, individual pearls and gems were hand strewn on each one scroll, forming a sculptural composition.
