Purple Queen Necklace

Originally created as part of the Year of Jewelry project fulfilling the theme Red Carpet Jewelry. This theme remineded me of the expression "Hollywood royalty" -- and even though we live in a democracy, our actors are given all the privileges of kings and queens.

The necklace was created with glorious gemstone quality AAA purple amethyst, deep blood red garnet and tourmaline.

The "Y" shaped focal piece was totally hand woven with more than 20 feet of hair thin sterling silver.

The necklace measures 18 inches long and can be adjusted to shorter lengths.  The "Y" focal piece measures 3" high by 2 3/4" wide.
