Tutorial 033: Flower Brooch with Cluster center

Level: Intermediate

Recommended companions:
Beaded Flower and Briolette Flower

This sweet brooch can be made using barrel or oval beads, a jumpring and some small 4mm beads. The fun and trendy cluster center can be alternated with the Beaded flower and the Briolette flower to form a gazillion different styles.

 

Materials needed for each pin:

  • 18-inches 24-ga wire (dead soft)
  • 20-inches 26-ga or 28-ga wire (dead soft)
  • Five 1/2-inch to 3/4-inch barrel or oval beads
  • 5 2-mm silver round beads
  • 1 8-mm or 7-mm soldered closed jumpring
  • 12 to 20 seed beads
  • 12 to 20 3-mm varied beads for center
  • 1 commercial pin back (base metal)
